Lamb Bank
Ruth Blake has kindly offered to co-ordinate the lamb bank again this year. For those of you who aren't familiar with the lamb bank, it is a 'match making' service linking up those who need lambs with those who have unwanted lambs.
Lambs are usually one or two days old, eg. twins/triplets where mum only has milk for one/two, occasionally they are older if the ewe has suffered complications.
There are no guarantees that Ruth can find you a match.
Please supply the following details: name & phone number (land-line preferably*), number of lambs available/wanted, location, how far you are prepared to travel, cost and any other relevant information.
Please let Ruth know at the time of providing information to her when you are able to collect lambs. Lambs offered have not been weaned and must be collected as soon as possible. If you find some elsewhere please let her know as soon as possible, so she can cross you off the list.
* Remember Ruth does this as a volunteer, so please try to keep her costs down
otherwise she may decide to stop doing it!
